NEUF architect(e)s is proud to celebrate its entry into the 2020 decade by announcing the official appointment of two new partners: Kim Pham - Architect DPLG, OAQ, OAA and Lilia Koleva - Architect OAQ, OAA, MIRAC, RIBA , PA LEED BD + C, who have now joined the previous eleven partners at the firm.

“From their very first days at NEUF, Lilia and Kim stood out. They have steadily worked to earn and build the trust of their colleagues and are today well-respected by their teams and clients alike. For us, it was only natural that they become partners.” - Bruno St-Jean, President and partner architect at NEUF architectes.

Active for nearly 50 years, NEUF architect(e)s has grown to become one of the largest architecture and design firms in Eastern Canada, bringing together nearly 200 professionals in its Montreal, Ottawa and Toronto offices. The firm has always based itself on a close and lasting relationship with its clients and partners. Today, the appointment of Kim and Lilia pushes the firm’s ambitions even further and opens up new perspectives for excellence in architecture.

Kim Pham, Architect DPLG, OAQ, OAA

In her 19 years of experience, Kim first worked as a licensed architect in France before joining NEUF architect(e)s after coming to Montreal in 2010. Her expertise in the planning and development of residential projects has been instrumental for the success of towers such as the Peterson, built in Montreal’s Quartier des spectacles and completed in 2017, the Solstice (Bell Centre’s newest neighbor), as well as the 628 Saint-Jacques in the Quartier international – both currently under construction. Eager to learn and to share her knowledge, Kim has notably collaborated with the Université de Montréal, where she taught a professional practice course. Her experience - marked by a strong interest in the environment, attention to detail, a rigorous monitoring of project delivery and an ability to build strong, trusting relationships with collaborators and clients - has enriched the NEUF architect(e)s practice for 10 years now.

“The invitation to become a partner at NEUF architect(e)s has been a pledge of recognition and trust. More than an outcome, it’s a renewed challenge to continue to forge ahead.”

Lilia Koleva, Architect OAQ, OAA, MIRAC, RIBA, PA LEED BD+C

As the founder of our Toronto office, today Lilia leads a multidisciplinary team engaged in a wide range of projects, including several urban infill projects in Toronto, the Perley and Rideau Veteran's Health Centre Expansion in Ottawa, as well as the Centre hospitalier de l’Université de Montréal (CHUM), where she headed the team responsible for the design, coordination and construction of its public spaces. A proficient communicator and project manager, Lilia ensures a high quality of design and technical detailing at all stages of the project, and places special emphasis on the integration and use of new technologies. She is actively involved in today’s architectural discourse through a steady engagement in both national and international events, such as the RAIC/OAA Festival of Architecture, Toronto’s CanBIM and the Design & Health Conference in Austria.

“Joining the fourth generation of partners at NEUF represents a significant achievement and responsibility. The challenges of our time require us to think in new directions and break new ground. I have put enormous energy in developing the firm, our talented team and winning rewarding projects, and am very pleased to build on this momentum.”
