Schlüter-Systems, developer and manufacturer of installation systems and membranes for ceramic and natural stone products, hired our team to design its first Quebec regional office.

The project allowed them not only to exhibit their systems within the building’s design and architecture, but also to experiment with some of their latest technologies and products.

The building includes a warehouse, offices, showroom, training center, photo studio, editing suite, testing facilities and a cafeteria.

The building earned a LEED Gold rating for the sustainable strategies used throughout.

Different technologies and systems reduced energy consumption by 74% and water usage by 40% when compared to the average building of this size and typology.

Among those, solar panel walls, radiant floors fueled by geothermal energy, white roofs that reduce the heat-island effect and green walls that filter water and naturally humidify spaces.
